I’m noticing the effects of change in me. I’m feeling kind of grumpy, a little teary and on somewhat shifting ground. I decided to read something positive to help lift my energy, and this daily guide from July’s Science of Mind did exactly that:
In truth, I think we are destined to be opened by the living of our days. We live our joys and we live our sorrows. And hopefully, through it all, we come into the full awareness of who we are as authentic beings. Sometimes we are called further into experience than we’d like to go, but it is such times that allow us to discover what it means to be truly alive.
Our darkest moments can bring us into our most brilliant authenticity. Through the good times and the bad, we are sustained by an indomitable Spirit within. No matter what we are facing, there is something within us that is resilient and solid. No matter what, there is a part of us that will never be defeated.
It is this Spirit within that makes life worth living, that allows us to realize the blessing of life itself. We can be fearless, no matter what, and know completely and forever that we are tuned in and tapped into a great and mighty power that wants only our joy and happiness. Amen!
Even though I’m still unsteadily in the middle of change, reading this brings me in touch with my Spirit and my strength. I breathe, relax and know that I’m not alone. If you’re in a similar place and feeling the effects of change, I hope these words serve as a reminder for you as well.
And in the end…all of us come through our changes in one perfect piece.
