There is so much happening in the world today, from nature the experiences of nature to our interactions with each other. In the end, we all want the same thing – Peace.
Our spiritual foundation is built on the knowing that outer peace begins with inner peace. An article in September’s Science of Mind magazine called The Heart of Peace, ends with four simple ideas for personal peace meditations. As a contribution to the peace of our global community, I am sharing them with you now.
- Sit in silent meditation for 10 minutes. During this time, visualize and feel a world that is at peace. What does that look like to you? Capture the essence in your emotions and inner vision.
- Create an affirmation you repeat each day or use as part of your prayer work. Here is an example: I know and feel the world is at peace. I see all people on the planet with their hearts filled with love and joy.
- Take a walk in nature and notice the earth under your feet. Be conscious of the planet on which you are walking. Feel the planet being at peace. Experience yourself in a state of peaceful gratitude.
- Find a quote on peace that resonates with your core beliefs. Print this quote and place it somewhere where you will see it each day.
Peace be with you.
